BHP Billiton Skills.net NSW delivers Internet training to people living in rural and remote communities across the state via public libraries. The project is coordinated by the State Library of New South Wales.

Skills.net is funded by BHP Billiton and the State Library's  Rural Link project. Rural Link is supported by the Federal Government's Networking the Nation program of the Department of Communications, Information Technology and the Arts.

Skills.net offers a range of workshops for the public, appropriate for beginners as well as experienced researchers. Contact your local public library for details of workshops in your community.

NSW public libraries wishing to participate in Skills.net should contact the Skills.net Coordinator at the State Library.
